When my wife was first diagnosed with Celiac disease in 2005 we felt very alone, like there was no where to turn. At that time there we found Celiac awareness was nil. After speaking with our doctor and nutritionist we then turned to the internet. There was not much easy to understand information on the internet. As time has passed and we have learned more about living the Celiac lifestyle. We have found there is a lot of information out there now but it is scattered all over the internet. The purpose of this site is to provide a single bookmark for you to find all the information you need.
There is a lot of information out there now and some of it is difficult to understand. The biggest problem we ran into was finding useful information. You can go to some websites and read all night long all about Celiac but come out never finding the information your were looking for. This website is designed to give you the quick facts. As a Celiac with a busy lifestyle what do I need to know? For example common brands, what common brands claim to be gluten free? If I know it is ok to go to the local supermarket and buy CRACKER JACK® brand Caramel-Coated Popcorn and Peanuts Snack for example and know it is safe, I can save myself a lot of time and money. If I know what ingredients to look for It will be a lot easer to look for brands that are ok or order at a restaurant. This is what this website will be about. Book mark this site and visit often.
